Michelle Atwell

Michelle Atwell, MPA, serves as the CEO of SEND International's U.S. office, leading efforts to mobilize support for missionary activities across multiple regions, including Asia and Europe. With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, Michelle previously held the position of Interim Chief Development Officer at the American Red Cross, where responsibilities included overseeing major gift fundraising to achieve an annual revenue target of $8 million. Prior to this role, Michelle directed fundraising initiatives at Grace Centers of Hope for nearly 18 years, focusing on private support and strategic campaign execution. Michelle holds a Master of Public Affairs in Non-Profit Management from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Sociology from Oakland University.
