Michael Silva

Michael Silva has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael is currently the CTO/Founder of Sendal Inc, where they co-envisioned and developed smart home capabilities for production homeowners.

Prior to this, they worked as a Software Architecture Consultant for Advisor360°, where they focused on modernizing the company's software and devops teams by implementing CI/CD automation practices and decoupling monolithic applications into microservices.

Michael also served as the VP Software & Software Architect at Parallel Wireless, where they led the overhaul of architectural, organizational, and development processes. Michael introduced agile-driven product development and 100% automated testing practices to accelerate feature development and improve quality.

Before that, they were the Co-founder, CTO & Chief Software Architect at Savant Systems. In this role, they played a key role in strategic planning, managed software engineers, and led the development of IoT home control and automation/media server product lines. Michael successfully launched Savant's professional and consumer product lines, marking significant milestones in their career.

Michael's career started at Starent Networks, where they served as the Software Development Director for Voice & Multimedia Services. Michael was responsible for solving business problems through innovative technology, particularly in the areas of VOIP, call processing, and telecomm.

Michael also worked at Lucent Technologies as the Director of Softswitch Software Development. During their time there, they achieved notable success in reversing a stalled project and driving the development of a core product that supported 70 countries' national variants.

Throughout their career, Michael Silva has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on leveraging technology to solve business challenges.

Michael Silva earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. Michael attended the university from 1990 to 1995.
