Ivan Arar

Ivan Arar has had a long and varied career in the software engineering industry. Ivan's work experience began in 2006 when they were a Web Developer at CARNet. In 2007, they moved to MojPosao (Tau on-line d.o.o.) as a Web Developer, where they worked on social network web sites using PHP Object Oriented Programming and design patterns. In 2009, they joined Styria Digital Services as a Senior Web Developer, where they worked on news media websites using Python web development with Django framework, and a lot of JavaScript and Ajax using jQuery and Sencha ExtJS. In 2014, they moved to Nanobit as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on back-end infrastructure for mobile games and applications using Python. In 2019, they joined Amphinicy Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built complex systems using Python programming language, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, Flask, etc. and led projects, communicating with clients abroad. Also in 2019, Ivan became a Co-Founder & CTO and Advisor at Sendbee. Additionally, they are the creator and owner of mundimago.com (ex oninstagram.com), which they originally created as a side project using Instagram API back in 2012 when Instagram had no web site with profiles and photos and their API was open.

Ivan Arar attended the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin from 1997 to 2006, where they earned a University Degree (BA) in Information Systems.
