Dr.Dharshan Dharshanan

Dr. Dharshan Dharshanan has a diverse background in protein production and proteomics. Dr.Dharshan began their career at the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute, where they completed an internship. Dr.Dharshan then joined Inno Bio Ventures Sdn. Bhd., starting as a Graduate Research Assistant and progressing to Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and eventually Assistant Manager (R&D). In this role, they gained experience in various aspects of research and development. Since 2017, Dr. Dharshanan has been at Sengenics, initially serving as the Senior Proteomics Manager. During this time, they successfully expressed over 1600 full-length human proteins for the IMMUNOME v4 Discovery Array. Dr.Dharshan later took on the role of Head of Protein Production, where they oversaw the development and application of the OncoREX p53 Cancer Array, which included tasks such as discovering new compounds, determining the effect of p53 mutations, and assessing the correlation between genotype and phenotype.

Dr. Dharshan Dharshanan completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Honours in Microbiology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, spanning from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology from Universiti Malaya, which they successfully completed from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in May 2023.
