Amanda Fernandez

Amanda Fernandez has worked at several companies in various finance roles. Amanda started their career as an Auditor at Blick Rothenberg in 2008 and worked there until 2011. Amanda then joined SwiftKey / Microsoft as a Financial Controller, later becoming a Financial Planning Manager and eventually a Business Program Manager until 2017. In 2017, they moved to Goodlord as a Financial Controller until 2018. Amanda then joined what3words as the Head of Commercial Finance, and later became the Head of Finance until 2019. Currently, Amanda is working at Sensat as the Head of Finance, and they have held roles such as Finance Director and VP Finance starting in 2020.

Amanda Fernandez completed their Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences, Chemistry from the University of Cambridge in the years 2004 to 2007. Amanda then pursued their ACA degree from ICAEW from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2017.
