Kevin Carlstrom

Kevin Carlstrom has an extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Kevin is currently serving as the Engineering Director at Sensata Technologies since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Eaton from 2013 to 2019 as the Director of Engineering, leading product engineering and manufacturing activities for multiple product lines in the Vehicle Sector. Before Eaton, they held various engineering director and chief engineer roles at Navistar Inc from 1998 to 2013, where they were responsible for site operations, integrating engine and vehicle engineering, and managing the technical interface with diesel engine suppliers. Their career began at Ford Motor Company in 1991 as a Development Engineer, working on the development of control systems for engines for the Brazil market.

Kevin Carlstrom earned a Master of Engineering degree specializing in Electronics and Computer Control Systems from Wayne State University in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Kevin also has an Associate of Arts - AA degree from the University of Minnesota.
