Melissa Shaltis earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2000. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT from 2000 to 2002. Prior to attending MIT, Melissa attended Friends Academy until 1996. In 2017, they also obtained a certification in Micromasters Supply Chain Management from MITx on edX.
