Joakim Nelson

Joakim Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as the OIL FIWARE iHub Officer at Sensative since May 2023, Joakim oversees the regional FIWARE iHub, promoting open standards for smart solutions. As the CEO and Founder of Comnel AB since September 2015, responsibilities include consultancy in Leadership/HR and B2B strategies, along with board assignments and interim management. Previously held roles include CEO of Innovation Skåne AB from March 2017 to May 2022, where Joakim guided entrepreneurs and innovators, and Senior External Adviser at Zacco, focusing on Internet of Things standardizations. Joakim's background also includes VP Sales & Business Development at Polight, Head of External Innovation & Standardization at Sony, and various leadership positions at SonyEricsson, Anoto, and Ericsson Mobile Communications. Joakim holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Lund University.
