Colleen Mdingi

Director, Clinical Data Managment at Senseonics

Colleen Mdingi has over 18 years of work experience. Colleen has held various roles in clinical data management and engineering. Colleen'smost recent role was as the Director of Clinical Data Management at Senseonics, Incorporated, where they formulated the CDM strategy, provided leadership to the CDM team, and built a Data Science group. Before that, they worked as a Manager of Clinical Data Management, overseeing CDM activities and timelines for multiple complex clinical trials. Prior to that, they served as a Group Leader in Clinical Database Management, responsible for database management, oversight of tasks, and review of adverse events. Colleen also has experience as a Principal Clinical Systems Engineer, Principal Systems Engineer, and Engineer in roles related to clinical study documentation, signal processing algorithms, and mechanical engineering. Colleen also has prior experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech.

Colleen Mdingi earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics from McDaniel College in 2000. Colleen then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, completing it in 2003. In addition to their formal education, Colleen holds several certifications, including Managing Virtual Teams and Balancing Work and Life as a Work-from-Home Parent from LinkedIn, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training from Barnett International, and various specialized certificates from Coursera and other institutions.
