Daniel Woo

Daniel Woo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daniel is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Senseonics, Incorporated since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at ENSCO, Inc. from March 2020 to March 2022, where they retrained deep learning models and implemented pipeline optimizations. Before ENSCO, Daniel worked as a Computer Vision Engineer Contractor at the United States Postal Service from June 2019 to December 2019, where they developed deep learning models and implemented worker time in zone demos. Daniel also founded Hoo-sed and worked as a Senior Vision Scientist at Robotic VISION Technologies from 2015 to 2019. Daniel's earlier work experience includes roles as a Founder at Hoo-sed, a Software Engineer at Cougaar Software, Inc., a Senior Software Engineer Contractor at Progeny Systems Corporation, and a Part-time Faculty at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Daniel began their career as a Software Developer at Gamma Research, Inc. and Baron Services, gaining experience in data entry systems, memory management utilities, and task switching tools.

Daniel Woo has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which they obtained from 2009 to 2014. Daniel also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, achieved from 1991 to 1993.
