Gian Lorenzo Paravicini Bagliani has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Gian Lorenzo began their career as a Research Assistant Intern at Bosch in 2012. In 2013, they joined ETH Zurich as a PhD Student and later became a Postdoctoral Researcher. During their time at ETH Zurich, they gained expertise in building dilution refrigerator setups, conducting cavity quantum electrodynamics and optoelectronics experiments, and designing semiconductor devices and clean room processes.

In 2019, Gian Lorenzo Paravicini Bagliani joined the Université de Strasbourg as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow. Gian Lorenzo worked on a project focused on material properties altered by strong light matter coupling at room temperature.
