Giuseppe Cacciato has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Giuseppe started their professional journey as an intern at imec in 2012. Later, they joined CNR-IMM as an Associate Research Scientist, where they conducted research until 2016. Giuseppe then worked at Frontiers in business development from 2017 to 2018. Giuseppe then moved to FemtoTools AG, starting as a Sales and Application Engineer and later becoming a Senior Sales and Application Engineer. In their role at FemtoTools AG, they contributed to sales and application engineering activities. Currently, Giuseppe is employed at Sensirion as a Key Account Manager. In this role, they have global responsibilities for customers in Europe and North America in the industrial markets. Giuseppe manages a diverse portfolio of customers, develops and maintains strong relationships with key clients, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. Additionally, they specialize in energy transition solutions, process control, and automation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Giuseppe Cacciato completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science from the Università di Catania, which they pursued from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Fisica from the same university, completing it between 2010 and 2012. Giuseppe also holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisica, which they earned from the Università di Catania from 2007 to 2010.
In terms of certifications, Giuseppe obtained the Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level One (PMC-I) certification from the Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in February 2018. Giuseppe also received a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - CEFR Level C1 from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2015.
