Karl Trygve Kalleberg

Karl Trygve Kalleberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Karl Trygve started their career in 2009 as a co-founder of Quantility, an investment company focused on data analytics, life sciences, and financial technology. In the same year, they co-founded KolibriFX, a data analytics company specializing in real-time analysis of time series data. Karl Trygve held positions as both the CTO and CEO of KolibriFX depending on the company's development phase. During their time at KolibriFX, they also co-founded several spinoff companies, including Just Technologies, Bluetail Capital, and Abelee.

In 2014, Kalleberg worked as an intern at Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål, where they gained experience in orthopedics, general surgery, and internal medicine, specifically in the nephrology ward. Karl Trygve was involved in various tasks, including ward duties, on-call work in the emergency department, surgical assistance, and minor surgeries.

Karl Trygve continued their medical career with positions as a temporary medical professional at various hospitals, including Haukeland University Hospital and St. Olavs Hospital - Trondheim University Hospital. Their responsibilities primarily focused on internal medicine, including gastroenterology, rounds, and other duties in the wards, and on-call work in the emergency department.

In 2015, Kalleberg joined Sensonomic as a technology advisor and co-founder. Sensonomic is a company that analyzes satellite images and combines them with statistical and financial data to provide actionable information on natural capital. Karl Trygve was responsible for advising on the construction of the software stack underlying their operations.

Alongside their work in the medical field, Kalleberg has also ventured into the business world. In 2017, they co-founded Age Labs AS, where they held the roles of CEO and CTO, focusing on the development and leadership of the company. Additionally, they served as a technology advisor and co-founder of Just Technologies AS, leading the software engineering team in building their cloud-based platform for FX benchmarking and currency risk management.

Kalleberg also gained experience in the Oslo municipality, serving as a medical intern at Oslo Syd Lokalmedisinske Senter and providing general practice services. Karl Trygve also participated in the municipal out-of-hours emergency care service.

Throughout their career, Kalleberg's work has involved a combination of entrepreneurship, medical expertise, and technology advisory roles.

Karl Trygve Kalleberg's education history is as follows. From 1997 to 2003, they attended the University of Bergen (UiB) and obtained a degree in Computer Science (cand.scient). During the same period, they also pursued their first year of Medicine at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). From 2003 to 2007, they continued their studies at the University of Bergen and completed a PhD in Computer Science. Additionally, from 2003 to 2009, they attended the University of Bergen and obtained a degree in Medicine (cand.med).
