Devon Magan

Devon Magan is an experienced IoT Embedded Systems and Electronics Engineer currently employed at Sensor Networks since May 2017, where Devon developed the Alarm Connect IoT device for integrating with alarm systems. Prior to this role, Devon freelanced as an Electronics Developer and Embedded Systems Programmer at Hey Presto Design Collective from August 2015 to August 2017, contributing to the development of smart products such as a prototype smart food dehydrator. Earlier career experience includes working as a Field Service Engineer at Carl Zeiss South Africa from January 2013 to April 2017, focusing on the installation and maintenance of various Zeiss medical equipment and networks. Devon holds a BTEC in Electrical Engineering: Computer Systems and a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering: Computer Systems from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, along with a National Senior Certificate from Bergvliet High School.
