James Shimp

James Shimp is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in ultrasonic testing applications, particularly within the aerospace sector. Since June 2016, James has served as a Senior Application Engineer at Sensor Networks, Inc., where responsibilities include addressing customer-specific ultrasonic testing applications and developing specialized probes, focusing on on-wing inspections of jet engine components. Prior to this role, James spent 38 years at GE Inspection Technologies, LLC, as a Lead Product Manager, where efforts were centered on solving ultrasonic application challenges for clients and overseeing the manufacturing of custom ultrasonic transducers for jet engine inspections.
