Strode Pennebaker

Strode Pennebaker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and technology development. As President of Sensorfield LLC since October 2011, Strode leads the creation of innovative solar-powered wireless sensor platforms for monitoring remote industrial locations. Prior to this, Strode served as Engineering Manager at Transocean from 2005 to 2011, overseeing worldwide operations and regulatory compliance for Challenger Minerals. Strode's previous roles include significant positions at Baker Hughes, where responsibilities ranged from managing special projects in corporate marketing to leading integrated services and drilling operations, along with co-founding DKM Resources, Inc. Strode began a career at Shell Oil Company as a Senior Production and Petrophysical Engineer. Strode holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and attended Cornell University.
