Christian Gobert

Christian Gobert is an experienced Additive Manufacturing Scientist currently employed at Sentient Science since May 2023. Prior to this role, Christian served as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2019 to May 2023, and as a Mentor for the Chesterfield Technical Center First Robotics Team 7429 Convergence from January 2018 to April 2020. Additional experience includes working as a Journeyman Fellow at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and educating high school students on 3D printing through a mentoring position at ORAU. Christian's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Penn State University.
