Lydia Westbrook has worked in the hospitality industry since 2000. Lydia began their career at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management in 2000 as an Onsite Program Coordinator. In 2002, they moved to the American Hotel & Lodging Association as the Information Center Research Director. In 2003, they returned to the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management as the Director of International and External Programs, and also served as a Tourism and Cruise Industry Lecturer. In 2014, they moved to the University of Houston as the Learning Abroad Director, where they led a staff of four, enhanced the tracking system, and organized and promoted Learning Abroad Fairs. In 2015, they became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of two companies, CBM Enterprise Solutions, LLC and Sentigy Consulting Services, Inc. Finally, in 2016, they began their current role as a Graduate Program Administrator at Rice University.
Lydia Westbrook holds a Master of Hospitality Management from the University of Houston, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the same institution.
