Stephan Burger

Stephan Burger is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and technical expertise. Currently serving as Group Executive: IT at Senwes since October 2013, Stephan provides direction for IT security, optimization, and digital transformation, while also advising on emerging technologies and industry trends. Previously, as Head of IT Application Services, Stephan chaired the Architecture Review Board and managed multi-cultural application development teams. Beginning with a solid foundation in software development roles, including Senior Software Developer and Developer, Stephan holds multiple degrees including a BSc Honours in Information Technology and a BSc in Business Mathematics and Informatics from North-West University, as well as qualifications from Harvard University and GIBS Business School.
