Responsibilities

  • ​Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting edge Motion Planning and Control features for autonomous driving vehicles
  • Develop motion planner and vehicle controller for 4-wheeled vehicles based on Seoul Robotics’ cutting edge 3D perception technology
  • Deploy developed algorithms to the software products and optimise through simulation and real-vehicle tests.
  • Work closely with internal and external business stakeholders to adapt/test/deploy the developed product through real-world projects

Qualifications

  • A MS or a Ph.D. degree or equivalent job experiences in Vehicle Motion Planning and/or Control
  • Expertise in classical and modern control design and implementation, familiarity with different approaches such as LQR, MPC, Adaptive, Robust and PID controllers, etc.
  • Experience in vehicle control with CAN protocol or equivalent software interfaces
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferences

  • Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulations, industry benchmark and customer requirements
  • Experience or knowledge of Functional Safety concepts
  • Familiar with typical software build and deployment process
  • Proficient in object-oriented design
