Marie-Laure VIOLLET has extensive work experience in the cosmetics industry. Marie-Laure started their career in 1987 as a Stagiaire technique at Parfums Christian Dior, where they worked in the Laboratory of Cosmétodynamie. Marie-Laure then interned at Parfums Christian Dior again in 1988 in the Laboratory of Biochemistry, where they conducted analysis using fluorescence of the stratum Corneum.
In 1990, Marie-Laure VIOLLET worked as a Stagiaire technique at CHANEL in their Quality Makeup Laboratories.
Marie-Laure then joined Indena in 1992 as an Ingénieur Commerciale, where they focused on the sales of plant-based actives to cosmetic and nutraceutical clients in the French market.
From 1998 to 2010, Marie-Laure VIOLLET worked at Safic-Alcan as a Commercial Manager in the Cosmetic Department. In this role, they managed key accounts in the French market and served as the main contact for suppliers in Japan, Korea, the USA, and Italy. Marie-Laure was also responsible for team management.
Their most recent position was at SEPPIC, where they started in 2012 as a Senior Business Development Manager. In this role, Marie-Laure VIOLLET promoted and provided technical support for the group's cosmetic ingredients, including polymers, emulsifiers, and active ingredients.
Marie-Laure Viollet completed their Master's degree in Negotiation from PARIS Business School ESG-N, from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Université Paris Sud - Orsay from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Chemistry. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Ecole des Cadres, specializing in Cosmetology.
