Jose Miguel H.

Jose Miguel H. has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Jose Miguel is currently the Engineering Director - Telematics & Multimedia Systems at SepsaMedha S.L.U. Since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at InfoGlobal // DMS4T for ten years as the Technical Director, where they managed product R&D and application systems engineering departments. Jose Miguel also defined product strategy and roadmap and led the engineering of broadband vehicle-to-wayside data comms solutions.

From 1997 to 2009, Jose Miguel served as the Software Engineering Director - Systems Division at SEPSA (ALBATROS, S.L.), where they managed the software development and maintenance of onboard railways electronic systems. Jose Miguel was also responsible for leading the architectural design of various onboard systems.

Before SEPSA, Jose Miguel worked at ELIOP, where they held different roles. From 1993 to 1997, they served as the Head of R&D/Machine Vision & European Projects Section. Jose Miguel led ELIOP's technical contribution to European Commission funded R&D projects and managed the development of computer-vision based systems.

From 1988 to 1993, Jose Miguel worked as an R&D/Telecontrol Systems Engineer at Eliop. Jose Miguel was responsible for developing embedded firmware for PLC and RTU equipment. Jose Miguel played a significant role in all phases of the software product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and validation.

Additionally, Jose Miguel has been a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission as a part of Technical Committee 9, WG43, and WG46 from 2006 to 2010.

Jose Miguel H. completed a Master's degree in Management - Information Technology from the Instituto de Directivos de Empresa (IDE-CESEM) from 1994 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1987, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - Automatics & Electronics at the Universidad Politcnica de Madrid.
