Derek Brooks

Derek Brooks has a comprehensive work experience in international business development and marketing roles in various industries. Derek started their career in 2001 at COOPER CROUSE-HINDS (UK) LTD. as a Marketing Business Development Manager, where they gained extensive experience working globally in Europe and the Middle East in the oil and gas industry. Derek then moved to TransTel Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore, where they worked as an International Business Development Manager, focusing on sales to oil and gas EPC contractors and production companies worldwide. Derek joined NesscoInvasat Ltd. in Aberdeen in 2009 as an International Business Development Manager, providing turnkey telecommunications network systems solutions to the oil and gas industry. In 2015, they joined Eaton MEDC UK Ltd. as a Strategic Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for website redesign, product rebranding, and marketing activities. Derek's most recent position was at Tyco Fire Integrated Systems UK (JCI) Nottingham as an International Business Development Manager, where they contributed to the manufacturing of electrical equipment and systems for the industrial and petrochemical industries. Derek recently joined Sepura as an International Business Development Manager.

Derek Brooks attended Southgate Technical College from 1978 to 1983, where they pursued a degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Derek completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) during their time there.
