Kaveh Soofi

Kaveh Soofi has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Kaveh started their own company, Kaveh Soofi Creative, Inc., in 2008 where they provided freelance art direction, branding, and creative services to software enterprises, tech companies, and startups. Kaveh worked on a wide range of projects including corporate branding, creative campaigns, web design, motion graphics, art direction for photography and video shoots, and tradeshow/event marketing.

Before that, Kaveh worked as an Art Director for BMC Software from 2004 to 2008. Kaveh was responsible for maintaining brand and voice consistency across all deliverables and ensuring high-quality work. Prior to BMC, they had a brief contract role as a Graphic Designer and Flash Developer for Red Envelope. Kaveh also worked as an Instructor at San Francisco State University.

Earlier in their career, Kaveh worked as a Graphic Designer for SP Controls, Inc., a startup electronics company, where they developed brand and marketing collateral. Kaveh also worked as a Graphic Designer for Rare Medium, a multi-media boutique studio, and Circumstance, an award-winning studio where they were part of the graphic design team for high-profile websites.

Kaveh Soofi began their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Art with a focus on Photography. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at San Francisco State University from 2001 to 2003. Here, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Radio and Television.
