Philip Smock has a diverse background in various industries. Philip currently works as a Client Experience Manager at Sequoia Consulting Group, where they started in May 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Head Coach of Tri-County Volleyball Academy since August 2012. Before their involvement in the sports industry, Philip gained experience at Infosys as a Plan Provisions Project Lead from October 2020 to May 2022. Philip also held the same role at Vanguard from November 2019 to October 2020. Additionally, at Vanguard, they worked as a Retirement Plan Specialist from March 2017 to November 2019. Earlier in their career, Philip served as an Athletic Director at West-Mont Christian Academy from November 2009 to January 2015.

Philip Smock earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biblical Studies/Secondary Education Counseling from Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Philip attended this institution from 2009 to 2013. Philip Smock also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they completed the "Project Management Foundations" certification from LinkedIn. In 2020, they earned the "Learning Cloud Computing: Cloud Storage" certification from LinkedIn as well as "The Six Biases of Decision-Making" certification. In 2019, Philip Smock obtained the "Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF)" certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Lastly, in 2018, they obtained the "Series 6 & 63 Securities License" from FINRA.
