I-Wen Lei

I-Wen Lei is a highly experienced scientific operations professional with a diverse background in quality control and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Scientific Operations Manager at Sequoia Consulting Group, LLC since September 2021, I-Wen previously held various positions at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including QC Supervisor and Senior QC Analyst, where expertise in method validation and transfer was developed. Prior experience includes roles as QC Tech at NovaRx Corporation, where I-Wen gained proficiency in laboratory techniques such as PCR and tissue culture, and as a QC Chemist at Carlsbad Technology Inc., where skills in wet chemistry and various analytical methods were honed. Early career experiences include educational roles as a student tutor at MiraCosta College and a student worker at Café Ventanas. I-Wen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC San Diego, completed in 2006.
