Nick Canales

Nick Canales is currently the Operations Manager at Sequoias Tree Expert, LLC, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, Nick served as Region Manager at Trees, LLC from July 2021 to September 2023 and held the position of Senior Division Forester at Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) from August 2015 to July 2021. Nick's earlier experience includes serving as Operations Supervisor for Vegetation Management at Environmental Consultants Inc. from October 2009 to August 2015, as well as Utility Forester for the City of Lawrence, KS for a brief period in 2009. Nick began the career in the utility sector as Wastewater Plant Operator for the City of Gardner and as a Utility Meter Technician from October 2008 to May 2009. Nick holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree in Environmental Studies and Geography from The University of Kansas, completed in 2008.
