Doug Roach has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Doug began their career in 1999 as a Speciality Senior Executive Sales Representative at GlaxoSmithKline. Doug then held various roles at the company, including District Sales Manager, Marketing Development Manager, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Regional Director. In these positions, they focused on developing marketing strategies, managing sales teams, and launching new products.
In 2017, Doug joined Sera Prognostics as the Marketing Director of Product/Pipeline Management. Doug later became the Associate Vice President Marketing & Commercial Operations, where they collaborated across departments to assess product concepts and conduct market research. Currently, Doug serves as the Vice President Marketing, leading the commercial launch efforts and marketing strategy for the company's PreTRM Test.
Prior to their time at Sera Prognostics, Doug served as the Field Vice President of Sales at GlaxoSmithKline, where they led a salesforce and managed a book of business in the western United States. Doug also established a new senior care sales division and hired and led an account selling team.
Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated expertise in marketing, sales, team leadership, and strategic planning in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Doug Roach attended Lander University from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration. Recently, they obtained a certification in Digital Marketing Strategies - Data, Automation, AI & Analytics from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in September 2021.
