Nichole Martin

Nichole Martin has a strong background in quality management and regulatory affairs. Nichole is currently working as the Vice President of Quality/Regulatory at Sera Prognostics since May 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Director of Quality Management at Progenity, Inc. from June 2018 to May 2020. Before joining Progenity, Inc., they worked as the Quality Director, US at Oxford Immunotec from December 2015 to May 2018. Nichole also served as the Director of Quality Assurance at Q2 Solutions - A Quintiles Quest Joint Venture from February 2014 to December 2015, and at Expression Analysis - A Quintiles Company from November 2008 to February 2014. Earlier in their career, Nichole worked as a Sr. Quality Associate at Talecris Biotherapeutics from 2003 to 2008, and as a Cytogenetics Technologist II at LabCorp from 1999 to 2003. Nichole started their career in plant pathology at NCSU in June 1997.

Nichole Martin's education history includes a Master of Science in Quality Assurance from California State University-Dominguez Hills, obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Nichole has obtained several certifications. Nichole is an ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, all obtained from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2011, 2008, and 2005, respectively. Nichole is also a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) from AAPC in 2021 and holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) since 2017. Nichole is a member of RAPS since 2020.

Nichole has pursued additional professional development through online courses from LinkedIn. Nichole has obtained certifications in various managerial topics, such as "Hiring an Employee for Managers," "Onboarding New Hires as a Manager," "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Having Difficult Conversations: A Guide for Managers," "Defining and Achieving Professional Goals," "Manager as Coach," "Performance Management: Setting Goals and Managing Performance," "Performance Management: Conducting Performance Reviews," and "Motivating and Engaging Employees." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn between 2022 and 2022.

Moreover, Nichole completed the "GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus) Course" from the CITI Program, a Division of BRANY, in November 2020.
