Trond Gifstad

Trond Gifstad is an experienced professional in technology licensing and quality assurance, currently serving as the Director of Technology Licensing & Quality Assurance at NTNU Technology Transfer AS since June 2005. Trond leads a team specializing in legal services, IPR management, negotiations, and contract management. Trond has held various leadership roles within NTNU Technology Transfer AS and has been actively involved in the management and direction of several companies as a board member and chairman, including Seram Coatings and Nordic Brain Tech AS. Holding a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trond combines technical expertise with extensive experience in commercialization and entrepreneurship in the technology sector.
