Vadim Victor Eristavi

Vadim Victor Eristavi has over twenty years of experience in the Quality Control field. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Sr. Quality Control Research Associate (QC Lead) at XOMA Corporation. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Sr. Quality Control Research Associate (Team Lead) at Amgen. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Sr. Quality Control Research Associate (QC Lead) at Nektar Therapeutics. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as the Head of Quality (Director of QA) at BlackBerry AtHoc. From 2004 to 2019, they worked at Genentech, where they held various roles, including Global Biologics External Quality Lead (Emerging Markets), Manager of Quality Control (External Quality), and Head of Quality Control (QC Manager). From 2019 to 2020, they worked as the Principal Consultant (External Quality / CMO) at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Head of Quality Control Department (Director of QC) at Miltenyi Biotec. Lastly, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as the Head of Quality Control Department (Sr. Director of QC) at Vaxart Inc. Currently, they are the Vice President of Quality at Serán BioScience, where they are responsible for building and leading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments, building and maintaining a productive work environment for the team of 35 Quality specialists, and providing daily leadership support and established goals and objectives for direct reports.

Vadim Victor Eristavi has a diverse educational background. Vadim Victor began their studies in 1985, earning a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering from Georgian Technical University in 1990. In 1992, they obtained a Certificate in Hazardous Material Management from the University of California at Berkeley. Vadim Victor then completed a Certificate in Water Treatment Plant Operation from Sacramento State University in 1994. In 1995, they began an MBA in International Business at Lincoln University (Oakland, CA), which they completed in 2000. In 1997, they also obtained a Certificate in Software QA from Santa Clara University.
