Gil Oyvin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Nurse epidemiologist for the IDF, where they monitored and aggregated data on infectious diseases and co-developed epidemiological databases. In 2012, they transitioned to the Tel Aviv Medical Center, serving as a Clinical research coordinator and IRB submission specialist. During this time, they managed multiple large-scale international studies and enforced study procedures and documentation.
In 2009, Gil took on the role of Website Developer at SkeletonCrew sites. Gil was responsible for website development, maintenance, and administration, including branding, site design, and WordPress development. Gil also had proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and had some experience with Python.
Moving on to Bioforum the Data Masters in 2015, Gil held various roles within the IT and innovation departments. As an Associate Director, they provided strategic direction and leadership in IT and innovation, focusing on information security and governance policy, ICT framework, and innovation methodologies. Gil also served as an Innovation Manager, leading strategic innovative and IT projects, and as a Senior Project Manager, liaising with customers and leading cross-functional teams.
In 2021, Gil joined CIITECH: Cannabis Healthcare as an Information Technology Manager, overseeing the management of ICT within the CiiTECH group. Their responsibilities included requirement collection, planning, and implementation of IT systems, as well as leading help-desk support efforts and onboarding/offboarding employees.
Most recently, in 2022, Gil joined Seraphic Security as the Information Technology Manager and CISO, where they are responsible for managing the company's IT systems and ensuring the security of its information.
Throughout their career, Gil has demonstrated expertise in IT management, innovation, project management, data management, and technical skills in website development and administration.
Gil Oyvin's education history is as follows:
- In 1997 to 2003, Gil attended Mikveh Israel Middle and high school and earned a Bagrut (matriculation exam) degree in Computer Science & Biotechnology.
- In 2010 to 2011, Gil studied at Tel Aviv University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse (RN).
- From 2013 to 2016, Gil pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Tel Aviv University.
