Eric Venn-Watson MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Eric is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Seraphina Therapeutics, a health and wellness company focused on developing essential micronutrients to counter age-related breakdown. Prior to this, they co-founded Epitracker Inc, a life sciences company that analyzes metabolomic, genomic, and clinical data to discover small molecules for treating diseases.

Dr. Venn-Watson also has a strong background in the military, having served in the US Navy from 1997 to 2012 and currently in the Navy reserves. During their active duty service, they held various executive medicine roles and served as the Wing Surgeon for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. In this role, they were responsible for providing medical care to over 16,000 Marines and Sailors in combat operations in Afghanistan.

In addition, Dr. Venn-Watson has held leadership positions in digital health companies. Eric served as the SVP of Clinical Transformation at AirStrip, a digital health company that provides clinicians with mobile access to patient data. At AirStrip, they engaged with health system executives and clinical leaders to develop digital health strategies and led cross-functional teams to create and market clinically relevant digital health solutions.

Furthermore, Dr. Venn-Watson has experience as the Founding CEO of XpandOrtho, where they developed an intra-articular device for knee replacement surgery. XpandOrtho was later acquired by Exactech. Eric also worked as a consultant for the National Marine Mammal Foundation.

Eric Venn-Watson MD, MBA began their education in 1997 at the Uniformed Services University, where they earned their MD in Medicine in 2001. Following this, they completed a General Surgery Internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they attended the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute and obtained a Flight Surgeon degree in Aerospace Medicine in 2003. From 2005 to 2008, Eric Venn-Watson MD, MBA undertook an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Lastly, in 2008 to 2010, they pursued an MBA at the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management.
