Brian Brooks

Brian Brooks is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at Serengeti Energy since September 2023. Previously, Brian held several leadership roles, including Head of Project Implementation at EDF Renewables South Africa, where responsibility was taken for a significant hybrid energy program. Brian's career also includes directorships at Globeleq, specializing in solar projects, and a tenure at Sterling and Wilson as Project Execution Director for African Solar initiatives. Earlier experience includes managing Global Equipment Logistics and Projects, focusing on business transformation, and ownership of Wrap it Digital Media Innovations. Brian holds an M.B.L. in Change Management and Strategic Management of Technology from the University of South Africa, as well as a BSc in Maths and Physics from the University of Port Elizabeth.
