Michael Morris

Michael Morris is a seasoned environmental scientist with extensive experience in soil and sediment analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at SERES ENGINEERING & SERVICES LLC since November 2021, Michael previously held the position of Senior Environmental Scientist at Jacobs Engineering for over two decades, where involvement included leading geological efforts at the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site. Earlier in the career, Michael was the Lead Designer at Lockwood Greene Technologies, conducting significant soil surveys related to nuclear waste disposal in Oak Ridge, TN. Academic contributions include a Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Science and a Master's in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from William & Mary. Michael's research portfolio encompasses both environmental and archaeological studies, highlighting a strong interdisciplinary expertise.
