Reid Farchmin

Reid Farchmin has a diverse work experience. Reid currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at Serionix, Inc. since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they served as a Technical Project Manager for Robotics for Engineer Operations (REO) from September 2017 to October 2022. In addition, they held the role of Research Development Mechanical Engineer for Virtual Forward Operating Base (VFOB) from September 2016 to September 2018.

Before their time in the Army Corps of Engineers, Reid worked as an Engineering Intern at Horizon Hobby in 2015. Their responsibilities included working closely with the legal department on patent and copyright cases, using 3D Solidworks to recreate PCBs and other items, and organizing data using Microsoft Excel.

In 2014, Reid also held an Engineering Internship at Litania Sports Group, where they primarily focused on creating athletic equipment using Solidworks and AUTOCAD programs. Reid also utilized Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator to complete various tasks.

Reid Farchmin completed a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical from Olivet Nazarene University, graduating in 2016. Later, Reid pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, starting in 2019 and completing it in 2022.
