Igor Runets

Igor Runets currently serves as the Chairman of the Mining and Blockchain Technologies Commission at The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and as CEO of BitRiver AG, the largest operator of green renewable mining with a capacity exceeding 300MW. Additionally, Igor holds the position of Vice President of Mining at the Russian Association of Cryptocurrency & Blockchain (RACIB) and has been Chief Executive Officer of Faraday Energy Company. As a General Partner at BitRiver, Igor focuses on developing cost-efficient mining operations in Russia, leveraging the region's abundant hydro power and favorable climate. Igor is also the CEO and Founder of Servers.Global, which provides essential computing resources, and has experience as a Founder-in-Residence at StartX. Igor has held various roles at Renren Inc. and RTSoft, with a strong background in project and product management, software development, and strategic development. Education includes an MBA from Stanford University and an Engineer's degree in Informatics and Control from Ural State Technical University.
