Kim Tan

Kim Tan has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Security Architect at Service NSW since November 2021. Previously, they worked at the NSW Department of Customer Service for several years, holding multiple managerial positions related to security architecture and cloud security services. Before that, Kim worked at Macquarie University as an Information Management and System Analyst, where they contributed to business process re-engineering and data migration projects. They also have experience in Electrical Product Engineering at Motorola Solutions and New Product Introduction and Test Process Engineering at Iso Technology Sdn. Bhd. Overall, Kim Tan has a diverse background in security architecture, information management, and engineering roles.

Kim Tan completed a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Melbourne in 2008-2009. They also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Kim Tan has obtained various certifications, including SABSA Foundation SCF, TOGAF Certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Autodesk AutoCAD 3D Modeling, LED Testing, and Measurement System Analysis.
