James Gates

James Gates has been involved in several companies throughout their career. In 1986, they founded Carlson & Gates, Inc. and served as its President. That same year, they also joined Team Legal, a full service litigation support firm, as its CEO, a role they retired from in 2015. In 2003, they co-founded Servient, Inc. and in 2016, they co-founded Motion Legal Media. Most recently, in 2015, they joined The Landing - Houston as Co-Founder and Executive Board Director.

James Gates attended the University of Houston from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology.
