Tarik Filali Ansary

Tarik Filali Ansary has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Tarik is currently serving as the EVP Vusion platform at SES-imagotag, where they lead the development and execution of IoT cloud platform strategies in the retail industry. Additionally, they are responsible for managing the largest retail IoT network globally and has expertise in strategic planning, business development, team building, and P&L management.

Before joining SES-imagotag, Tarik worked as the SVP Cloud Services & Retail Software Solutions at the same company. In this role, they owned the cloud solutions and services strategy and led an engineering team in the development and delivery of a market-leading SaaS IoT management platform.

Prior to their roles at SES-imagotag, Tarik served as the Director of Software R&D at the company, where they were responsible for building the software product vision, advising C-level contacts, and managing software development teams.

Before their time at SES-imagotag, Tarik worked at Normasys as a Project Director for Fixed-Rate projects. Tarik successfully created the Fixed-Rate project department and was responsible for project delivery, budget and schedule control, and customer and partner relationships.

Earlier in their career, Tarik worked as a Project Manager at sfeir group, where they delivered projects on time and within the agreed acceptance criteria. Tarik also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Lille and as a Research Engineer at the Semantic 3D Project.

Tarik Filali Ansary has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Ecole Marocaine des Sciences de l'ingénieur, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Tarik then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 2002 to 2003. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Télécom SudParis from 2003 to 2006.
