Mervin Toussaint currently serves as a Teacher and Branch Coordinator at Settlement Music School, where responsibilities include guiding families in programming and overseeing student billing. Mervin has extensive experience as a private instructor, offering saxophone and music theory lessons since January 2017. Previous roles include Teaching Assistant at The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts, and Teaching Artist Residencies at the Center for Creative Works and the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership. Mervin also contributed to the University of the Arts as a Jazz History Teaching Assistant. Mervin holds a Master's degree in Jazz Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Performance - Saxophone, both from the University of the Arts.
