Shari Sharafi

Shari Sharafi is a Sr. Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer at Setty & Associates. Shari has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field and has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Sharafi started their career at ITT Grinnell Industrial Piping Inc. in 1982 as a Field Engineer. Shari then moved to Stone & Webster Engineering, Corporation (SWEC) in 1985 where they were a Field Start and Test Engineer. In 1987, they began working at National Fire Protection Engineering, Inc. as a Fire Protection Designer. The following year, they became a Mechanical Engineer at Turley & Toomey Engineering, Inc.

In 1990, Sharafi became the Mechanical Engineering Department head at Energy Systems Engineering, Inc. and held that position until 1993 when they left to join Diversified Engineering, Inc. as their Director of Engineering. Shari stayed with Diversified Engineering for 20 years until 2013 when they left to join Setty & Associates as a Sr. Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer.

Shari Sharafi has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University. Shari is certified by the Association of Energy Engineers in CBCxP (Certified Building Commissioning Professional), USGBCI in LEED Green Associates, MD, VA, DC, NY, and PA in PE (Professional Engineering), SWEC in Level II Pumps and Valves Internals Visual NDE Certification, and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in N45.2.6, Level II Welding NDE Visual Inspection Certification.
