Matt Butler

Matt Butler is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in front-end development and application optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at SEVENROOMS since August 2022, Matt's previous roles include Senior Front-End Engineer at Amazon Prime Air and various positions at Amazon Web Services, where skills in React, Webpack, and modern front-end tools were honed. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Cerner, where Matt built user-focused front end frameworks, and Transamerica Life Insurance Company, where advanced SQL database optimization techniques were employed. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, both from the University of Iowa.
