Adam Polakoff

Adam Polakoff is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in construction law and litigation. Currently serving as Special Counsel at Severson & Werson since June 2023, Polakoff previously held the position of Legal Counsel at Fehr & Peers from September 2022 to June 2023. Polakoff’s career at Severson & Werson began as an Associate from October 2012 to August 2022. Additional experience includes roles as an Attorney at Hammond Law and a Litigation Associate at Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin. Polakoff has completed judicial externships for both Associate Justice Kathryn M. Werdegar at the California Supreme Court and Judge Maxine M. Chesney at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to a legal career, Polakoff served as Director of Operations for The Princeton Review.
