Kaitlin Tymrak

Deputy General Superintendent at Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans

Kaitlin Tymrak has worked in various roles throughout their career. Kaitlin started as a Research Assistant at the Ecological Restoration Institute at Northern Arizona University from 2004 to 2008. Kaitlin then joined CH2M HILL as an Environmental Engineer and Project Manager from 2008 to 2018, where they specialized in hazardous waste management and RCRA compliance. Kaitlin also held roles including project manager, environmental compliance manager, and Manager of Talent. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Jacobs as a Project Manager and Water Resources Engineer. Currently, they are the Director of Program Management and Business Services at the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans. Prior to this position, they served as the Business Services Lead in the General Superintendent's Office at the same company from 2020 to 2022.

Kaitlin Tymrak earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Northern Arizona University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Kaitlin later pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources Planning and Management at Colorado State University from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their educational achievements, Kaitlin obtained certifications as a Professional Engineer from the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board in July 2012 and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
