Vicky Tran

Co-Founder - Business Development at Sexton Biotechnologies

Vicky Tran has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology industry. Vicky is currently serving as the Co-Founder of Business Development at Sexton Biotechnologies since October 2019. In this role, Vicky is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential partnerships with cell and gene business partners to benefit patients. Vicky aims to develop long-lasting relationships with industry leaders committed to the quality and performance of their therapies in order to accelerate curative/regenerative medicine.

Prior to their current role, Vicky worked at Cook Regentec from January 2019 to September 2019 as the Global Product Manager for Bioprocess Consumables. Before that, they served as a Product Development Engineer for Advanced Lab Product at Cook Regentec from January 2015 to December 2018.

Vicky's work experience also includes a role as a Product Development Engineer for Cell Therapy Device at Cook Medical from January 2013 to December 2014.

Vicky Tran pursued their education in Bioengineering at the University of Louisville - J.B. Speed School of Engineering. From 2007 to 2011, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering. Subsequently, Vicky continued their education and obtained a Master of Engineering degree from the same institution's Bioengineering Department, completing it in 2012. Additionally, they acquired certification in "Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly" from Dukane in April 2016 and "Root Cause Investigation for CAPA" from Weaver Consultants Group in August 2014.
