Claudia Banks

Claudia Banks currently serves as the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where responsibilities include developing internal communications plans, supporting change management, and enhancing employee engagement through strategic initiatives, especially in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Previously, Claudia held roles at Allstate, including Lead Consultant for Internal Storytelling and Lead Communications Consultant, where significant contributions involved crafting communications strategies aligned with business objectives and managing internal communications for senior leaders. Claudia also served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Safer Foundation, supervising the development of marketing strategies that increased organizational visibility and funding. A former journalist, Claudia held multiple editorial positions at the Chicago Tribune and was an adjunct professor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and is currently pursuing further education at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
