Kyle B.

Kyle B. is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and risk management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering for Risk Platforms at Sezzle since August 2018, Kyle has been instrumental in building teams focused on underwriting and fraud prevention. Previous roles at Sezzle include Director of Engineering for Shopper & Merchant Risk and Lead Developer for the Risk Team, where responsibilities included developing microservices in Go and Python to enhance decision-making and fraud detection processes. Prior to Sezzle, Kyle worked as a Senior Software Engineer at UnitedHealth Group, developing a claims processing platform, and as a Software Engineer at Aston Technologies, Inc., creating in-house HR software solutions. Kyle's career began in freelance web development, aiding clients in establishing their online presence. Educationally, Kyle holds a degree from Berklee College of Music.
