Alireza Beigi

Alireza Beigi is an experienced professional in the fields of mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering. Currently serving as ADCS Co-Lead at SFU Satellite Design since February 2022, Alireza has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University from January 2022 to December 2023, contributing to courses in Engineering Graphics and Design, Mechatronic Design II, and Real-Time and Embedded Control Systems. Alireza's role as a Controls member with Team Phantom - SFU Formula SAE Electric involved embedded software engineering and utilizing the TMS570 ARM Microcontroller. Prior research experience includes a position at TaarLab, where Alireza focused on the design and manufacturing of a torque sensor based on tactile force sensors. Alireza holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
