Joan Barbé Quijada

Joan Barbé Quijada is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, journalism, and theatre. Since June 2015, Joan has worked as a Monitor d'Educació Especial at Ampans. Concurrently, from 2007 to the present, Joan has contributed as a collaborator and opinion columnist for Diari Regió 7. With a career in freelance writing that began in 1987, Joan has established a reputation as a screenwriter and journalist, while also serving as a theatrical author and translator with over twenty theatrical works to Joan's credit. Notably, Joan held the position of Gerent for the Festival Internacional de Cinema Negre de Manresa from 1999 to 2012. Additional contributions include directing a cultural shopping center for Grupo Planeta and significant work with the SGAE as both an author and screenwriter for various awards. Joan holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Dramatic Arts from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Institut del Teatre de Terrassa, respectively.
